Margaret Hackbarth of Counsel – Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman
Premises Liability in the midst of a COVID-19 Pandemic. In this presentation, we will review the basics of premises liability including the relevant parties, the duty that a property owner generally owes to visitors and others and the types of accidents and cases involving premises liability. Given the current health crisis and the fact that business and property owners are reopening in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will focus particularly on matters that might arise in relation to COVID-19.
